SAT-AA-1001 (Alpha Arbutin) is a type of hydroquinone glucoside with a 1-glucosyl bond.
It is a functional ingredient for skin lightening. Alpha-arbutin inhibits the enzyme tyrosinase,
so that the color pigment melanin is only produced to a small extent.
It is used as a skin lightener in personal care.
